The HVEF sponsors several annual programs that are independent of the grants we make to teachers and schools.

  • E² Awards and Dinner - Each year the HVEF honors one individual and one corporation who have made outstanding contributions to the Hopewell Valley Schools by enhancing the educational experience of the students. Recipients are honored at the annual E² Awards Dinner, which includes silent and live auctions. The six district teachers who were named Mercer County Teacher Recognition award winners are guests at the dinner, and each receives a $250 check for classroom use awarded by the Foundation.
  • Senior Citizen Luncheons - The Senior Citizen Luncheons, held at Timberlane Middle School, are funded and sponsored by local businesses and individuals through the Foundation. This program provides a wonderful opportunity for Valley senior citizens to come into our schools and interact with HVRSD students who serve the lunch and provide entertainment though musical or acting performances.

    Senior Citizen Luncheon Oct 2009
